About Dam-Quarry Campground

Dam-Quarry Campground offers world-class trout fishing, scenic Ozark views, and well-maintained sites, making it a prime destination for anglers and outdoor enthusiasts alike.

Located just downstream of Norfork Dam in northern Arkansas, this campground provides direct access to the North Fork River's cold waters. The site features level, paved campsites with picnic areas and fire rings, some offering covered spots for shade. Clean, private bathrooms and showers enhance the camping experience. The surrounding forested hills and hollows of the Ozarks create a picturesque backdrop for outdoor activities.

Situated three miles northeast of the small town of Norfork, the campground serves as an excellent base for exploring the region. Visitors can enjoy kayaking on the river, hiking nearby trails, or venturing into the Ozark National Forest for wildlife spotting. The 22,000-acre Norfork Lake upstream offers additional water recreation opportunities such as boating, water skiing, and scuba diving.

Dam-Quarry Campground caters to a range of trip types, from weekend fishing excursions to extended vacations exploring the Ozarks. Its reputation among anglers is particularly strong, with many considering it one of the top spots for trout fishing in the state.
