Eklutna Lake Campground in Chugach State Park provides an exceptional camping experience with its serene setting along a glacially-fed lake, unparalleled access to multi-use trails, and a variety of outdoor recreation opportunities. The campground features 50 well-maintained sites and an additional 15 overflow spots, accommodating both RVs (up to 30 feet) and tents. For an adventurous twist, public-use cabins and backcountry sites along the lake offer a rustic retreat. Eklutna Lake itself is a hub of activity, ideal for kayaking, paddleboarding, and fishing for Dolly Varden char, with motorized boats prohibited to preserve the tranquil ambiance.
