A centrally located vault toilet is available, and bear-proof trash cans are provided to ensure safety. The Overflow Campground is approximately one mile from the main Lake Conasauga Campground and offers additional access to the Lake Conasauga Recreation Area.
This remote destination sits near the summit of Grassy Mountain at 3,150 feet, making it Georgia's highest elevation lake. The location is within a short drive to features like the Lake Conasauga Picnic Area, which provides swimming, fishing, and a small boat launch.
