About Minersville Campground

With its tranquil lakeside location and stunning views of the Trinity Alps, Minersville Campground stands out for its seamless combination of natural beauty, privacy, and recreation. Positioned on the shores of Trinity Lake within the Shasta-Trinity National Forest, this campground offers a serene retreat for campers seeking direct access to water activities and wilderness exploration.

Minersville Campground features 14 campsites in two sections: a developed area with paved parking pads for tents, trailers, and RVs up to 36 feet, and a more secluded, walk-in section offering a primitive, wilderness-like experience. Many campsites provide captivating lake views, and amenities include picnic tables, fire pits, food storage lockers, and vault toilets. Drinking water is available seasonally, but campers should prepare for limited modern conveniences, as there are no RV hookups and cell service is unavailable. A boat ramp nearby adds to the appeal for water enthusiasts.

Located 17 miles north of Weaverville, California, this campground is an excellent base for exploring the Trinity Alps Wilderness and enjoying activities such as fishing, kayaking, hiking, and wildlife viewing. With its peaceful atmosphere and direct access to outdoor adventures, Minersville Campground is ideal for weekend getaways and extended vacations, offering an immersive connection to Northern California's pristine natural landscapes.
