Campground Overview
About Spring Creek Campground
Shaded by tall ponderosa pines and fir trees, Spring Creek Campground in western Idaho's Hitt Mountains offers a tranquil escape ideal for nature lovers, with its serene creekside setting, abundant wildlife, and proximity to outdoor adventures. Located approximately 30 miles from Weiser in the Payette National Forest, the campground provides easy access to miles of trails for hiking, biking, and off-road exploration, as well as fishing opportunities at nearby Mann Creek Reservoir.
The campground features 14 campsites, each equipped with picnic tables and fire pits with grates, alongside accessible vault toilets and a pressurized water system. While electric hookups are not available, the quiet, rustic experience is complemented by a group picnic site accommodating up to 100 people. Campers will find this location particularly appealing for early-season visits due to its moderate elevation of 4,750 feet, snow-free conditions in late spring, and shaded relief from summer heat.
