Campground Overview
About Friendship Campground
Friendship Campground's serene atmosphere is marked by the gentle murmur of Left Hand Fork Creek, which runs alongside the campsites and enhances the natural charm. Located 15 miles from Hyrum, Utah, in the Blacksmith Fork Canyon at an elevation of 5,600 feet, this secluded campground offers an intimate connection to nature with just five individual sites and one group site accommodating up to 25 people. Shaded by mature maples and dotted with wildflowers, each site is equipped with a picnic table and fire ring, complemented by accessible vault toilets.
Campers will find plenty of outdoor activities right at their doorstep. The Richards Hollow Trail, ideal for hiking and mountain biking, begins at the campground, and Left Hand Fork Creek provides excellent fishing opportunities for wild trout species, including brown, rainbow, and cutthroat. For those seeking more adventure, the Shoshone ATV Trail System is just a short distance away. Access to the campground involves a rugged dirt road, making it best suited for vehicles with high clearance or four-wheel drive capabilities. Friendship Campground immerses visitors in the quiet beauty of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, offering an ideal retreat for weekend getaways and nature-focused escapes.
