Campground Overview
About Wiley Creek Group Camp
Shaded by towering Douglas firs in the heart of Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, Wiley Creek Group Camp defies expectations, offering a secluded yet expansive setting for group adventures. Just 14 miles east of Granite Falls along the Mountain Loop Highway, this campground provides an enchanting backdrop blending old-growth forest tranquility with easy access to the South Fork Stillaguamish River.
Wiley Creek features two group camping areas with Adirondack shelters, picnic tables, fire pits, and vault toilets. Site A offers a riverside shelter with bunk beds and a cooking shelter, while Site B includes a spacious two-level design, suited for larger gatherings. However, campers must bring their own water, as none is available on-site. Parking is a short walk from the camping areas, adding to the site's secluded charm. The surrounding forest trails lead explorers into serene, shaded pathways, while nearby riverbanks provide ideal spots for reflection or fishing.
Located a mere five miles east of Verlot Public Service Center, the campground is a gateway to the region’s natural wonders. Within a 30-minute drive, visitors can hike trails like the Mt. Dickerman Trail or explore the scenery of Mount Pilchuck State Park. Wiley Creek Group Camp is a prime choice for those seeking a peaceful group retreat without sacrificing the allure of the wild Cascades.
